Had dinner @ Hanabi today, and as usual, the food was delightful=)
The crowd is a little more executive/high-brow, and the prices are a tad steeper than Sakae/Waruku/Sushi Tei, but the food is quite a few notches better. Their sashimi is the smoothest and freshest. The unagi fried rice is the most fragrant. Everything is good lahz. One of our favorite classified-for-repeated-visits restaurants=) Ambience is nice too…somewhat posher, more understated and discreet. I also like the fact that their branches are located in less well-known and populated buildings.
The restaurant is almost always full, so it is better to make reservations. Buffet dinner for 2 comes up to 70 bucks but if you, like us, can eat, dining at Hanabi is quite a good deal haha. Can get very noisy at times though…but food is served promptly piping hot or suitably chilled.
I know, i am a glutton. haha.
