Just finished reunion dinner at my aunt’s place. It was nice catching up with the cousins, and of course, devouring all the delicious home-made yummies. Think wasabi-mayo prawns fried to perfection, steamed wanton dumplings, fragrant chicken, sambal-seasoned crayfish, golden fish fillets, rich steamboat broth…aww…=)

The melt-in-the mouth pineapple filling which is sweet without being overwhelming and the buttery, crunchy pastry
And there are more..bak gwa, pork chop, chicken wings, tomato fishballs, chocolate chip cookies, peanut cookies, blah blah blah. Chinese New Year, the season to eat with abandon and forget about calories completely!
And with this pair of adorable little oxen (the decor on the office wall haha), I would like to wish one and all a very Happy Chinese New Year! May there be lots of good food and hefty red packets!!
